Isaac returns from combat carrying invisible wounds, the deaths of civilians, fellow soldiers, and his closest friend, Bryant.
As guilt, grief, and emotional isolation pull him farther from his wife Sarah and their son Leo, Isaac reaches a breaking point. With Sarah beside him and through traditional Indigenous healing practices, he begins to confront the pain he has carried for years.
No One Comes Home does not promise that the past can be erased. It asks something more honest: can connection, courage, and love lead someone back to life?

Beyond the uniform
The film looks beyond the battlefield to the moral injury, grief, and disconnection that can follow a service member home. This story is driven by a devastating reality. Over a ten-year period, more than 65,000 veterans died by suicide, meaning nearly 18 veterans lose their battle every day after the uniform comes off.
Isaac’s journey is also Sarah and Leo’s, a portrait of the patience, pain, and courage required to rebuild connection.
Traditional Indigenous healing practices help Isaac face what he carries. The past remains, but returning to life becomes possible.
